Resources for Community Living (RCL) is an innovative independent living agency that assists adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities who wish to live independently in the community. RCL is seeking a full-time caseworker. The position offers a generous benefit package which includes health, dental, disability and life insurance. Travel expense is also reimbursed along federal mileage guidelines. Starting salary is 10 - 12 dollars per hour depending on experience.

Caseworker position requirements include:
1.
College background and/or experience in human services or related field.
2.
Previous contact (formal or informal) with persons with disabilities. Knowledge of disability issues helpful.
3.
Understanding of the person-centered services and supported living concepts.
4.
Ability to work productively and independently with little direct supervision.
5.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work within required timelines.
6.
Strong time management, documentation and communication skills.
7.
Flexibility, creativity, commitment, initiative.
8.
Some evening and weekend work required.
9.
Current Illinois drivers license and proof of insurance.
